During the months of July and August, the net profits from The Coffee Bar will be given to an organization that helps coffee-farming communities in Latin America. Coffee Kids helps coffee-farming families improve the quality of their lives. Coffee Kids creates partnerships with local organizations in coffee-growing regions that work directly with those families and children. They provide technical resources, training and follow-thru projects that improve health care, education, micro-credit programs and community projects. Each project is tailored to the needs of each individual community.

Bill Fishbein, a coffee roaster from Providence, R.I., USA, founded Coffee Kids in 1988. Fishbein has been working in the specialty coffee industry since 1977. Coffee Kids has raised and distributed over $4 million in funds to help coffee-farming families.
